The Leesburg, Virginia Stammtisch is a group of people who are all interested in improving their German conversational skills.
We started the group in January 2008 when our adult education German class ended with no follow-on class available.
For the first few months we met every Wednesday night at my house, but now that the Hamburg Döner Restaurant has opened up in downtown Leesburg, we meet there as long as the weather is good as the seating is all outdoor.
With this blog I hope to report on the group's activities as well as share the German grammar rules, facts, vocabulary etc. as I learn them. I will try to write many of the future posts in German when I have the time.
